This site is exclusively dedicated to my most favorite hobby in the whole wide world - ‘photography’ and fills one of my long felt needs - to have a little space of my own in the Internet, so that I can share my portfolio of pictures with those who care. But, before that, let me give you a brief description about me and website and hope that it would give you a better idea of the content in this site.

Well, I’m Rasika Liyanage, a young enthusiast from a beautiful island situated in the Indian Ocean called Sri Lanka. All those naturalists out there must have heard about my country no doubt. Enriched with many rain forests, wild-life parks, beautiful waterfalls and rivers, rolling hills and mountains, rich grassy plains and beautiful sandy beaches, it is simply a paradise for nature and wild-life photographers. It’s so ironic that I had to leave that paradise and settle down in a very sophisticated country like Singapore… However, I see Singapore as a very unique country, full of its own kind of beauty that no other place can match. There are enough and more attractions here that will undoubtedly make even a total stranger fall in love with this little island. I believe you will agree with me on this once you visit my photo gallery.

Out of all, my favorite area of photography is landscape photography and this is where I miss Sri Lanka the most-however, I never miss an opportunity to cover beautiful landscapes in Sri Lanka whenever I visit there. I also have a special interest in macro and bird photography and my portfolio contains many of these too. Other than that, most of the pictures in my collection represent captions of nature that caught my eye while I was on the go.

So, now you’ve heard enough and I believe that you are ready to take a tour around. ‘The Photo Gallery' holds a growing selection of my photography, while a more descriptive report on popular places in Singapore and scenic places in Sri Lanka (only places where I have managed to cover so far) is given under 'Attractions'.
